About
In this one week fun and educational filmmaking workshop for ages 13-17, participants work in small teams to plan, shoot, and edit short documentary videos filmed in and around downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. Meets in person.
Participants will be provided access to and training with video cameras and editing equipment. Final projects will be shown in a mini-festival for family and friends on the last day of the camp, videos will be uploaded to YouTube, and may also be featured at the Community Stories Film Festival 2023. The program takes place from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm each weekday.
