J. Hollinger's is in the spotlight once again, this time landing at the top of Eater DC’s roundup of 18 BEST steakhouses around the DC region.

Honestly, it’s not much of a surprise. J. Hollinger’s has built its reputation around thoughtful ingredients, careful craftsmanship, and a menu rooted in quality at every level. From locally sourced seafood to 100% Certified Black Angus beef, every detail is intentional — right down to sustainably sourced Icelandic sea salt used throughout the kitchen. Each dish tells a story.

Whether it’s a perfectly prepared tomahawk steak, steak frites finished with garlic-parsley butter, or one of the restaurant’s signature seafood offerings, the menu reflects a commitment to both elevated dining and responsible sourcing.

In its latest feature, Eater DC highlighted the restaurant’s classic chophouse selections, including filet tenderloin, porterhouse steaks, surf-and-turf additions, and shareable cuts that continue drawing diners from across the region to Downtown Silver Spring.
