Excitement is building in Silver Spring as Royal Farms prepares to officially open its newest location on Monday, May 4, 2026. The Silver Spring Royal Farms is located at 9475 Georgia Avenue in the Montgomery Hills neighborhood, bringing the brand’s signature combination of fresh food, fuel, and convenience to the community.

As reported earlier this week by Source of the Spring, the Baltimore-based chain announced plans back in 2023 to redevelop the former Beltway Car Care/Sunoco site. Construction moved forward following County approval, and the project has since transformed into a modern retail destination ready to serve local Silver Spring residents.

In a recent Royal Farms Press Release, District Leader Steve Rymer highlighted the significance of the opening: “Royal Farms has been a Maryland staple since 1959, and we’re excited to grow our presence in Silver Spring. We’re proud to serve our neighbors and bring our signature fresh-food experience to the Georgia Avenue corridor.

The new location is designed with convenience in mind, featuring eight fuel dispensers, a wide variety of freshly prepared food options, from breakfast to dinner, and 24/7 service to meet the needs of the community year-round.

Since opening its first Baltimore store in 1959, Royal Farms has expanded to more than 300 locations across multiple states. With a reputation for quality and convenience, the brand continues to grow while staying true to its “Real Fresh, Real Fast” mission—now bringing that experience to Silver Spring.
