Two local key figures, Paul Carr and Marcus Johnson, have been driving the music and energy of the festival since its inception. Paul Carr, an award-winning saxophonist and dedicated jazz educator, and Marcus Johnson, leading Crank + Flo with a blend of jazz and go-go, capture the heart of our community's vibrant jazz scene.
Also, don’t miss Feedel Band, bringing an Ethiopian jazz sound that merges 1960s R&B and funk with traditional Ethiopian scales, and the Todd Marcus Quintet, featuring the unique bass clarinet artistry of Todd Marcus.
