Looking for a fun way to learn a new skill while connecting with other parents and community members? This summer, Social Noodle is bringing people together through its Brews & Braids Summer Series.
This series is a hands-on hairstyling workshops designed to build confidence, spark conversation, and create lasting memories.
While one workshop highlights moms and the other focuses on dads, EVERYONE is welcome to attend. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, caregiver, aunt, uncle, sibling, or simply interested in learning how to braid and style hair, these workshops offer a welcoming, supportive environment for all.
We've highlighted 2 local events for the Silver Spring Region:
- Prosecco & Ponytails Sunday, July 26 | 11 to 1pm

Prosecco & Ponytails, a relaxed Sunday brunch-style workshop where participants will enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco while learning practical hairstyling techniques. Led by local hair expert @Anai.Hair, this 90-minute interactive class covers everyday ponytails, braids, and simple styles you can recreate at home.
Whether you're getting ready for busy school mornings or simply want to expand your hairstyling skills, this event offers a fun and social atmosphere to learn alongside others.

Brews & Braids in Silver Spring, invites participants to enjoy an evening of craft beer and hairstyling. Also led by Anai Hair, this hands-on workshop focuses on practical braiding techniques and easy hairstyles while creating a welcoming space for dads, caregivers, and anyone interested in learning.
No prior experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and get ready to practice new skills in a relaxed community setting.

Although each event has a unique theme, these workshops are open to everyone. Social Noodle created the Brews & Braids Summer Series to encourage connection, build confidence, and make hairstyling more approachable for all caregivers and community members.
