Silver Spring, MD 20910
The Silver Spring Armory, a castle-like structure that once housed the Maryland National Guard, was over seventy years old and in a compromised structural condition when it was demolished to make way for the revitalized Silver Spring Downtown. The site is memorialized with a piece of Public Artwork by Jerome Meadows, including architectural fragments of the Silver Spring Armory.
