The AFI Latin American Film Festival makes its long-anticipated return to the big screen at AFI Silver Theatre. This year's exciting lineup features 49 new films from 22 countries, including 10 special guest appearances.
The Festival opens with Mexican director Alonso Ruizpalacios' (GÜEROS, MUSEO) A COP MOVIE, an immersive, genre-bending behind-the-scenes look at the life of two Mexico City cops. The Festival closes with action-packed crime thriller and sequel LA SOGA 2, the directorial debut of Dominican-American writer and actor Manny Pérez (CROOKLYN, LA SOGA, WASHINGTON HEIGHTS).
