Join MoCo Pride Center and Live In Your Truth for this year’s Back to School Block Party on August 22nd from 3 - 7 PM in Veterans Plaza! Fun, resources, community — you won't want to miss it!

We are currently taking donations for children and families in MCPS. Help the children in our community start the new school year right! We accept clothing, books, school supplies, backpacks, and just about anything else a child might want to make going to school a better experience. You can find our donation drop-off centers at the following locations:

This Back to School event goes hand-in-hand with the recent efforts of the Coalition for Inclusive Schools & Communities to support inclusive, affirming, fact- and science-based education. “Inclusive education isn’t just a value—it’s a necessity,” said Phillip Alexander Downie, Coalition for Inclusive Schools Co-Chair and CEO of the Montgomery County Pride Family. And right now, “The right of every child to learn in an environment where they see themselves reflected, affirmed, and respected is under attack.”
