About

Printmaking Open Studio throughout the month of July!

Create’s summer open studio sessions will be a time when students can come in to work on a printmaking project of their choice with instructor Etai’s support and full use of the press and printmaking tools. Students can choose between relief printing, intaglio, collagraph, and gelli printing mediums in sizes up to 9x12”. Past CREATE printmaking participants are welcome to bring projects they would like to reprint or begin new projects from scratch. Before each session, Etai will check in with registered participants about their projects to discuss prep work and what materials to bring. CREATE will provide non-consumable printmaking materials such as brayers, barrens, carving tools, and etching needles, while students will be responsible for bringing their own matrices (linoleum or easycut blocks, acrylic or zinc plates etc) and paper.
