🎥 The Art of Scars by Jess Walters
The Art of Our Scars follows artist Jess Walters through kidney failure, dialysis, and transplant, highlighting the interdependence of human health. After being diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease, Walters brought their disabled and recovering body into arts spaces, challenging stigmas that deem chronically ill and disabled lives unfulfilling, unpretty, or unworthy.
