As part of the 2026 Montgomery County Farm Tour, Silver Spring's very own, Koiner Farm (the County's first urban farm) is opening its invisible gates and inviting the entire Montgomery County community to explore one of Silver Spring's best-kept hidden gems during this special countywide celebration of local agriculture!
Nestled in the heart of Silver Spring, Koiner Farm is more than just a farm. It's a community gathering place dedicated to sustainable farming, environmental stewardship, education, and connecting neighbors through fresh, locally grown food.
Whether you're curious about growing your own vegetables, interested in learning more about sustainable agriculture, or simply looking for a fun outdoor activity with family and friends, Koiner Farm has something for everyone.
While the Montgomery County Farm Tour features farms, orchards, breweries, wineries, and agricultural destinations throughout the county, Koiner Farm is the ONLY participating farm located in the southern half of Montgomery Count and the only stop in Silver Spring! (Take a look at the Farm Tour map and you'll see what we mean!)
