When the pandemic took hold in 2020, tech startup employee Uday Misra came home to live in Maryland for the first time since graduating college two years prior. Frustrated with his career at that point, he began to wonder how friends of his who had also come back home - many of them children of immigrants and University of Maryland graduates like him - were feeling about their own careers. Early conversations led him to make a documentary interviewing nearly two dozen friends of his over the next few months. Through honest, intimate conversation, they interrogated their reasoning behind the professional and life decisions they had made throughout the formative stages of their adult lives thus far, navigating their evolving understanding of what a successful life looks like to them in the process.
