About

Join us for this special fundraising event to support the work of Docs In Progress -- a screening of the documentary AFTER IKE - A Journey That Changed America. Join us on Sunday, November 3, at 2 pm at the AFI Silver Theater for a Q&A with director Gregory Maassen, Brian McCotter and producer/narrator, the Honorable Michael S. Owen.

In 1919, a military convoy journeyed from the White House to San Francisco with a 28-year-old Lt. Col. Dwight D. Eisenhower that would change America forever. The documentary details the convoy's struggles and explores the expedition's lasting effect on the nation, highlighting its role in shaping America's interstate highway infrastructure and its (un)intended consequences for communities.
