June’s Special Event: Join Professor Emeritus Ray Bosmans, Mid Atlantic Turtle and Tortise Society, for a Reptile Talk at 11am to learn about and touch many different types of reptiles. Thinking about owning a turtle as a pet? Ask Dr. Bosmans how you can be a turtle parent. There will also be many ongoing activities including “Train Spot” under the canopy. See locomotives galore. Wave at the Engineers. Enjoy HO Scale Model Train Display. Play with wooden toy train set and ride Thomas the Tank Engine. See B&O “Drumhead,” rail photos, & memorabilia of the original Downtown Silver Spring.
