Peace in Broken Pieces: Opening Reception
Join multidisciplinary artist Simone Agoussoye for the opening reception of Peace in Broken Pieces, a solo exhibition exploring vulnerability, resilience, self-worth and what it means to find wholeness without returning to who we were before the breaking.
Through portraiture, reflective materials and her signature use of broken and crushed glass, Agoussoye traces a visual journey through The Breaking, The Pieces, The Peace and Wholeness.
At the center of the exhibition is a question:
Can something be broken and still be whole?
Guests are invited to experience the exhibition for the first time, meet the artist, enjoy music and refreshments, and spend an evening celebrating art, reflection and becoming.
