Join us for a one-mile walking tour of Silver Spring from 10 am to 12 pm. Your guide will be Jerry A. McCoy, founder of the Silver Spring Historical Society and author of “Historic Silver Spring” and “Downtown Silver Spring”. The tour will begin and end at the station and include the spring site after which the community was named. Ongoing activities: train spotting and waving at the engineers, a model layout, a toy train play set, photos and memorabilia of the railroad’s glory days and historic Silver Spring, and more!
