Silver Spring Blues Festival Returns for Its 17th Year

Get ready for a full day of live music as the 17th Annual Silver Spring Blues Festival returns to Downtown Silver Spring on Saturday, June 20, from 10am to 10 p.m.

This beloved community tradition brings together some of the region's most talented blues musicians for twelve hours of performances spanning traditional acoustic blues, electric blues, blues-rock, and everything in between.

The festival kicks off with acoustic performances hosted by MC Willie Leebel and transitions into an electrifying evening lineup hosted by WPFW's Don't Forget the Blues radio host Ida Campbell. Featured performers include Mud Morganfield, son of blues legend Muddy Waters, alongside Daryl Davis, Tommy Lepson, Soul Crackers, Nella B. & the Noise, Cathy Ponton King, David Cole & Main Street Blues, and many more. Attendees can also enjoy performances from local favorites, emerging artists, and the School of Rock.

Presented by the Silver Spring Town Center, the festival is free to attend and offers a unique opportunity to experience world-class blues music in the heart of Downtown Silver Spring. Bring a chair, explore nearby restaurants and businesses, and spend the day celebrating one of America's most influential musical traditions.
