About

Oct. 14–27
Year in and year out, Eddie Muller and the Film Noir Foundation team deliver an impeccably curated selection of films noir, combining canonical classics with wonderful rarities ripe for rediscovery. The Noir City DC festival returns with a selection of titles featured earlier this year at Noir City's flagship festival in Oakland, including the new Film Noir Foundation restoration of Cy Endfield's rarely seen 1948 directorial debut THE ARGYLE SECRETS.

Film Noir Foundation founder Eddie Muller, host of TCM's NOIR ALLEY, will introduce select screenings on the festival's opening weekend, Oct. 14–16. Film historian Foster Hirsch will introduce screenings Oct. 21–23.

The Film Noir Foundation (FNF), created by writer and film historian Eddie Muller, is committed to rescuing and restoring America's noir heritage. All FNF proceeds from Noir City festivals go to finding and restoring films in danger of being lost or permanently damaged. For information on how to join the FNF's campaign, visit FilmNoirFoundation.org.
