Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with a FREE Latin Dance class at Maryland Youth Ballet.

Join Maestra Pau in learning to dance ‘Flor de Pina’, a dance from the state of Oaxaca from the region of Papaloapan. First presented in 1958 and now one of the most anticipated dances in the ‘Guelaguetza’ festival in Oaxaca. You will not only learn the dance steps, but we will also discuss the history of this dance and the regalia.

Open to the public ages 10+. No experience required.
