The Silver offers a dynamic mix of over 50 films and programs per month, including classic and new films from every continent; major studio films; independent films; documentaries; filmmaker discussions and live performances with film presentations; film festivals; premieres; tributes; on-stage guest appearances; and educational programs. The three-theater complex brings the best in film and video to Washington area audiences. Filmmaker interviews, topical discussions, and live performances in its three theaters are designed to enrich the film-going experience and to provide audiences with the most entertaining and enjoyable screen presentations anywhere.
