The Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus is nestled among charming tree-lined streets and Victorian houses at the edge of Washington, D.C. and is easily accessible by metro rail. Established on this site in 1950, this cosmopolitan campus now serves more than 4,500 students from over 175 countries each semester and is currently expanding and modernizing its facilities to meet the needs of tomorrow's work force.

Students are the centerpiece of all of our efforts. Our dedicated faculty and staff create an atmosphere where learning takes place inside and outside of the classroom. The College implements high quality programs and services that are geared to the educational, professional and social needs of our diverse student body.

Currently, the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus is in the midst of a wonderful transformation and is advancing into the new century in a profound way. An $88 million expansion extends the campus into the heart of south Silver Spring, along the Georgia Avenue corridor. Above and beyond the traditional collegiate offerings in the humanities/social sciences and math/science disciplines, the campus is the headquarters of the Health Sciences program at Montgomery College. With the addition of the King Street Arts Center and the Cultural Arts Center, Montgomery College will enhance Silver Spring's growing reputation as a destination for Arts and Entertainment in the down county area.
